palettes_head
Palettes are very handy for those that use the GIMP for painting and drawing purposes. A few plugins also make use of palettes for different purposes. Having a nice set of well co-ordnated palettes can be a big help for those of us that arent the great artist too.

If you are looking for a massive overload of palettes to download, we have a nice set of GIMP palettes generated from Fractint map files. These are available at ftp://ftp.gimp.org/pub/gimp/contrib as palettes-adrian-fractint.tar.gz.
